Dialing in portraits has never been easier—the ⅛ strength blooms highlights just enough to take the edge off skin texture, yet the fine detail in eyelashes stays razor sharp. I've left it on for landscapes too, and the color fidelity is honestly impressive.

The bloom on this filter is subtle enough that I can leave it on all day without worrying about losing detail in the shadows. Skin tones stay accurate, and the highlight rolloff on backlit shots looks way more filmic than my bare lens.

I shoot a lot of portraits and wanted to take the digital edge off skin without losing detail, and this 1/8 strength does that perfectly. Highlights bloom just slightly while colors stay true, which is exactly the subtle look I was after.
