I was worried it might be too subtle, but the way it lifts shadows and softens harsh contrast on faces is just right. Skin tones look natural in portraits, yet the whole frame gets that dreamy, cinematic quality without washing out. Definitely what I wanted for a softer, more atmospheric look.

The halation on streetlights at night is exactly the dreamy look I was after, and it softens skin tones beautifully without washing everything out. Even in my dimly lit apartment, the shadow lift is noticeable and pleasing.

Shot a backlit portrait at golden hour and the halation around the highlights was gorgeous, exactly the dreamy glow I was chasing. It does soften contrast a lot, so I stop down a bit to keep things from getting too washed out. Easily my favorite filter for moody night shots now.
