Solar ND100000 Filter Plus

The IR and UV blocking is what sold me, and it did not disappoint—the sun's disk stayed perfectly sharp with no purple fringing. Even at 16.67 stops, the exposure math was easy to dial in, and my sequences came out clean.

Shot the full eclipse with this on my 200mm and the sunspots came out tack sharp, no glow or haze at all. The 16.67 stops of reduction is no joke, I was at f/8 and still needed a slow shutter. Filter thread screwed on smooth and the metal ring feels solid.

Pointed it at the sun expecting to fiddle with focus forever, but 16.67 stops of reduction made the whole thing easy on my mirrorless. The UV and IR blocking is the part I actually care about, since I'd rather not cook my sensor staring at an eclipse.
